The licence

Dumi is free to use until your tree has grown its first free cubes (the number is shown in the app and on the front page). Growing it further takes a licence: a one-time purchase, with no subscription and no expiry, that includes the updates to this version of the app. One licence is for one person and may be active on up to three Macs that person uses, personally or at work. Without a licence, tasks, focus and stats keep working; the cubes you earn are kept and grow once the app is unlocked.

You may not sell or share your key, sell the app, or pass off a modified build as Dumi.

Payment and refunds

Dumi costs what the front page says, once. Orders are processed by Creem, the merchant of record, who also handle sales tax and VAT; their buyer terms apply to the payment itself. If Dumi isn't for you, write to contact@dumitasks.com within 14 days of buying and you get your money back, no questions asked; the key is then switched off.

Your data is yours

Everything the app stores stays on your Mac in a plain JSON file. No rights over your tasks, text or anything else are claimed. See the privacy page.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. It is a small app made with care, not a guarantee: keep your own backups of anything you would miss.

Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the author is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost time, arising from using the app or this site.

Changes

These terms may change as the app grows up. Material changes will be dated here, and continuing to use the app after that means the new terms apply.
